Pickleball has arrived at Britannia Yacht Club in a big way!! With the ever increasing interest of the game in Ottawa, it was only natural for us to implement a program at BYC. From our humble beginnings of painting pickleball lines on tennis courts we now have 2 exclusive pickleball courts in addition to the 2 dual-purpose tennis courts.
If you have never played and are interested, we recommend that you come out and give it a try. It’s a social game where new players are always welcome. Even the pros started as beginners so feel free to drop in or contact the club to get more information.
Speaking of pros, we even have our own in-house pro who regularly puts on clinics to help new players get a proper starting point and learn the proper techniques right from the beginning.

Regular Events and Activities
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings from 10:00am and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm are dedicated times for drop-in social pickleball play.
- Beginners are always welcome, come out and join our growing pickleball community!
